Looking for Clinical Pilates?
We offer Clinical Pilates at both Back on Track Physiotherapy Albury and Corowa.
What is Clinical Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is a form of exercise that focusses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength and flexibility.
Clinical Pilates is performed on specialised equipment including reformers and trapeze tables which allow for the position and resistance to be adjusted to suit each individual.
Clinical Pilates is superior to mat based Pilates as it allows for:
- Individualised program specifically tailored for you
- Greater repertoire of exercises and variety
- Promotes greater muscle and movement isolation, to efficiently train your under performing musculature
- Allows progressive resistance training, catering to post-op rehabilitation all the way through to elite athletic training
Clinical Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, from beginner through to elite athlete.
By improving your core stability and movement patterns Clinical Pilates can help with many conditions including:
- Neck and back pain
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Arthritic pain
- Cardiovascular disease
- Sports injury
- Pre and Post Natal
- Work place injury and conditioning.
